Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Polyphenol Infusion

Steep the whole cloves and matcha powder in 2 oz of hot water (not boiling, around 175°F/80°C) for 3-5 minutes. Allow to cool to room temperature while you prepare other ingredients.

Step 2: Build the Base

Add the filtered water or almond milk to your high-speed blender first. This prevents sticking and ensures smooth blending.

Step 3: Add Dry Ingredients

Add collagen peptides, ground flaxseed, and inulin powder to the liquid. These dissolve best when added to liquid before other ingredients.

Step 4: Incorporate Superfoods

Add the mixed berries, pomegranate juice concentrate, raw cacao powder, and the cooled green tea mixture to the blender.

Step 5: Add Spices

Sprinkle in the ground cinnamon, ginger, and turmeric. These anti-inflammatory spices enhance both flavor and Akkermansia-boosting properties.

Step 6: Blend to Perfection

Blend on high speed for 45-60 seconds until completely smooth and creamy. The mixture should have a vibrant purple-brown color.

Step 7: Add Optional Ingredients

If using a probiotic capsule, open it and add contents, then pulse for 1-2 seconds only (to preserve live cultures). Stir in chia seeds after blending if desired.

Step 8: Strain (Optional)
