A quick and flavorful Cajun honey butter salmon recipe with a sweet-spicy glaze and golden sear, ready in just 25 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Fresh parsley or green onions, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Pat salmon dry and season with Cajun seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in skillet over medium-high, add salmon skin-side down, and cook 4–5 minutes per side.
  3. Remove salmon and set aside. Melt butter in skillet, sauté garlic for 1 minute.
  4. Stir in honey and lemon juice, whisk until smooth.
  5. Return salmon to skillet, spoon sauce over fillets, and simmer 1–2 minutes.
  6. Garnish with parsley or green onions and serve hot.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add cayenne for heat or more honey for sweetness.
  • Serve with mashed potatoes, rice, or roasted vegetables.
