Rich and creamy caramel milk tea made hot or cold, with optional boba pearls.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 black tea bag (or 2 tsp loose leaf)
  • ½ cup half and half
  • 2 tbsp caramel simple syrup
  • ¼ cup quick cook boba pearls (optional)

Instructions

  • Steep tea in boiling water for 5 minutes, remove tea bag.
  • Cook boba per package directions, soak in caramel syrup + 1 tbsp tea.
  • For cold: Add boba, syrup, ice, cooled tea, and half and half to glass. Stir.
  • For hot: Warm half and half with syrup. Add tea, milk mix, and boba to mug.

Notes

  1. Adjust caramel syrup to taste.
  2. Serve immediately if using boba.
