Easy homemade chocolate bubble milk tea (boba) recipe with milk, chocolate mix, and tapioca pearls. Creamy, refreshing, and cheaper than store-bought.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup tapioca pearls
  • 1.5 tbsp sugar
  • 3.5 tbsp hot chocolate mix
  • ⅓ cup boiling water
  • 1 cup milk of choice
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Cook tapioca pearls in boiling water for 5–6 minutes.
  2. Drain and coat in sugar.
  3. Mix hot chocolate powder with boiling water until smooth.
  4. Add pearls to a glass, then ice, milk, and chocolate mix.
  5. Stir well, adjust sweetness, and serve.

Notes

  • For hot version, skip ice and use warm milk.
  • Make your own mix with cocoa powder + sugar.
  • Always prepare pearls fresh.
