Hot honey salmon combines sweet honey, spicy hot sauce, and tangy lemon into a sticky glaze over tender salmon fillets. Ready in 25 minutes!

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons hot sauce (Sriracha or Frank’s RedHot)
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • Optional garnish: green onions, sesame seeds

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with foil or parchment.
  • Pat salmon fillets dry, then rub with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Simmer honey, hot sauce, soy sauce, and lemon juice in saucepan for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  • Brush salmon with half the glaze and bake 12–15 minutes, until flaky and 125–130°F internally.
  • Brush with remaining glaze and garnish with green onions or sesame seeds.`),

 

Notes

  • Adjust spice by adding more or less hot sauce.
  • Swap soy sauce for tamari or coconut aminos to make it gluten-free.
