A decadent Samoa Cheesecake with Oreo crust, creamy cheesecake base, and a topping of caramel, coconut, and chocolate drizzle.

Ingredients

  • 24 Oreo cookies
  • 4 tbsp melted butter
  • Pinch of salt
  • 675g Neufchâtel cream cheese (3 blocks)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla)
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 cups shredded sweetened coconut
  • 1 ¾ cups caramel sauce
  • 125g dark chocolate”)

Instructions

  • Crush Oreos and mix with melted butter; press into a springform pan.
  • Beat cream cheese until smooth, add sugar, yogurt, and vanilla.
  • Add eggs one at a time, mixing on low.
  • Pour filling into crust, bake in water bath at 160°C for 90 minutes.
  • Cool in oven, then refrigerate at least 4 hours.
  • Toast coconut until golden, mix with 1 cup caramel.
  • Spread ½ cup caramel on cheesecake, top with coconut mixture.
  • Melt chocolate, drizzle lines on top, and finish with caramel threads.

Notes

  • Use a springform pan for easy removal.
  • Cool gradually to avoid cracks.
  • Store in fridge for up to 5 days or freeze in portions for 3 months.
  • Decorate just before serving for best presentation.
