¾ cup (180ml) water
¾ cup (180ml) lemonade (Simply Lemonade or similar quality brand)
1 citrus mint green tea bag (Tazo Zen or similar)
1 peach herbal tea bag (Celestial Seasonings Country Peach Passion or similar)
2 tablespoons raw honey (adjust to taste)
1 fresh lemon slice for garnish (optional)
Fresh mint sprig for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Combine water and lemonade in a small saucepan over medium-high heat. Bring to a gentle simmer with small bubbles forming around the edges. Alternatively, combine in a large microwave-safe mug and microwave for 2-3 minutes until steaming hot.
Remove from heat and immediately add both tea bags to the hot liquid.
Cover the saucepan with a lid or cover the mug with a small plate. Steep for 3-5 minutes depending on desired strength.
Remove tea bags, gently pressing against the side of the vessel to extract liquid without squeezing aggressively. Discard tea bags.
Add honey to the hot tea and stir thoroughly until completely dissolved.
Taste and adjust sweetness if needed by adding more honey one teaspoon at a time.
Pour into serving mug if prepared in a saucepan. Garnish with a fresh lemon slice and mint sprig if desired.
